When you apply for a scholarship, the scholarship provider will request additional personal information from you as part of the application process. This may include, but is not limited to, your full name, address, email address, phone number, gender, school name, academic information such as grade point average and college entrance exam scores, involvement in work, school and community activities, personal essays, or video recordings. Actual types of information we collect vary depending on the scholarship or other award for which you are being considered. Our FAFSA Made Easier tool is designed to make it easier for our users to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) form so that they can apply to obtain financial aid from the federal government. When you use our FAFSA Made Easier Tool, we collect all of the information required by the federal government in the FAFSA form. We use the information we collect through the FAFSA Made Easier tool to help you apply for federal student aid. Although we may share the progress you have made filling out the FAFSA form with your high school counselor where you have authorized us to do so, we do not share any personal information collected through the form with them.
Our servers also automatically collect and store certain technical information when you visit or use the Services.
Generally speaking, web browsers automatically accept cookies by default. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Services. Even under the best of circumstances, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Any transmission of personal information is done at your own risk.

Your account profile information and certain additional data you provide is available to be reviewed through your online account. You can review and make changes to your profile information by logging into the Services and visiting your account profile page.

Going Merry may send you notifications regarding your account. You cannot opt out of these notifications as they are in place to comply with legal requirements and help protect your privacy and security, but you can opt out of certain marketing communications by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing emails you receive.
