From the provider: I started working my way up through the industry 15 years ago when women were rarely allowed on boats. It’s becoming a much more common place but it still has challenges for our gender that men don’t face. Addressed correctly, those challenges can result in skills, determination, etc that lead to success. I used my involvement as a teenager in the industry to write a college application letter and then to pay for school. Now, I’d like to give back through the Brannon Finney Scholarship.
