1. CHS – Chester High School Alumni Scholarship

Provider: Chester High School

Amount: Up to $500

The Chester Alumni Association is offering a $500 award to graduates of the Chester Academy. Your application must be completed and returned by April 1st of your high school graduation year. However, the Chester HS Alumni Scholarship is intended for your second year of college. The senior granted the scholarship will receive the funds once the following conditions have been met:
(1) Complete your 1st year of college as a full-time student.
(2) Register for your 2nd year as a full-time student.

2. Maria L. Tejada Scholarship

Provider: Maria L. Tejada Scholarship Fund (Charity Smith)

Amount: Up to $1,000

The Maria L. Tejada Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to students who are granted a non-paid internship with the Cook County Juvenile Probation Department based on demonstrated academic achievement and financial need. Consideration will be given to academic achievement, financial need, and the student community service record.

3. Women in Science Graduate Fellowship

Provider: The Field Museum

Amount: $32,000

The Field Museum offers a limited number of fellowships to graduate students engaged in dissertation research associated with the museum. The Women in Science Graduate Fellowship provides a stipend and limited funds for research and travel.
